Hello dear, 

      This week's beauty post is about the famous eyeliner struggle. 

When I started applying makeup, eyeliner was a hit or miss for me. Some days I'll be lucky and line it perfectly and other days I get frustrated that I just want to toss my eyeliner into the trash can. If you're going through this, you're not alone my dear.

   I've had my own bad liner days but my life change once I learnt  the eyeliner trick I'll be teaching you today. 

What You'll Need:

* Your Eyes of course (LOL)

* liquid liner( you can use a gel liner or even a pen liner. *Use what you have.)

* If you're using a gel liner, you will need an eyeliner brush.

   What Next:

Step 1:

Start by lining your lower lash line with a black pencil eyeliner.

 It gives you a hint where to take the curve to, Says Bimpe Onakaya (Loreal West African Artistic Director).

*Ps: This trick stopped my eyeliner from landing in no man's land because it gives a hint on how far to take the line and how curved it should be. I like to use the Colossal Kajal by Maybelline because it's very black. 

Step 2: 

Draw a flick starting from your lower lash line to the upper one. You can take it as high as you want.

The higher the line, the more of a cat look you get which is popularly known as "the Winged Liner."

Step 3:

Draw another line from the wing down to your upper lash line.  see below

Step 4:

Start again from the inner corner of your eye to the center and then connect it to the wing. 

*Ps: Don't try to draw the lines in one full motion. If you do that, your liner will catch up on loose skin and give you bumps and you will end up with an eyeliner that looks like a cassava ridge. (Lol. I'm a farmer too)

 Your eyeliner should be straight. That's when it's on fleek. Avoiding bumps is another key.

Step 5:

Fill in the space left in your wing and you're done. You can use a concealer to clean the edge of your eyeliner so it appears sharp.

Note: if you're using a gel liner, you will have to keep reloading your brush.
